Following a huge fire on New Year’s Eve 2018, the Liverpool Echo Arena Car Park was left in an unsafe condition. No-one was injured in the devastating blaze, but 1400 cars were destroyed. Thousands of people were left affected and displaced on one of Liverpool’s busiest nights of the year. The fabric of the building was extensively damaged as the massive inferno raced through the car park, and the remains of hundreds of abandoned cars were left behind. This all required careful and considered demolition and clearance to make the site safe again and ready for redevelopment. The process was captured by our time-lapse systems and you can watch below:
