Our timelapse system creates incredible video footage that is ideal for including in promotional films, DVDs or streamed straight from your website. The system can be set up quickly and can remain in place for any length of time, from just a few hours to many years. The system is highly configurable and there are several versions available depending on your exact requirements.
It works by placing a digital camera or high quality webcam in an enclosure. This is then installed overlooking the area you would like to capture. The camera unit is connected to a specialised server that controls how often the photos are taken. The server then downloads the images from the camera and stores them safely. The individual images are then be loaded into our specialist software to create the timelapse sequence. This can then be encoded in a number of formats depending on where the footage is to be used.
Timelapse is a great way of showing many different situations. For example, you may wish to show a residential area being regenerated. The film could show old buildings being demolished, followed by site preparation works and through to new housing being built. This also works well for any type of building work such as an office block, football stadium or even a bridge being constructed. Timelapse can also be used to show work such as a shop being refitted or an art exhibition being installed. The possibilities are endless.
