Our Regenology Ltd. time-lapse cameras have been filming at Westgate-on-Sea for two years now! They are capturing the construction of Wain House Care Home for Avante Care & Support. The first camera was installed back in June 2023, when the area was just a field. Two years on, you can see that fantastic progress is being made on site. It looks like it’s always sunny in Westgate-on-Sea too!
Chris Francis at Avante Care & Support was keen from the start to use two time-lapse cameras to capture the work, and after discussion with him we agreed together that the second camera would be installed in September 2024, as the building started to come out of the ground. That camera is now coming up to it’s one year anniversary on site too!
The use of two cameras can help to capture a whole site, and recording the build from different angles can result in a more interesting final film than using a single camera. There is an additional cost, but we have discounts available for second cameras, and the results can be stunning.
At the Westgate-on-Sea project, we are also using our drone to capture footage before, during and after the build, so the final film should be truly spectacular! The project is due to end this year, so it won’t be long now before we can share the results of this fantastic project.

The new 70 bed care home will be called Wain House, and is expected to open in January 2026. You can find out more about it, and how to arrange your place here >>
This is one of two projects with Avante Care & Support, and we are proud to be working with them at both this site in Westgate-on-sea as well as Luck’s Hill in West Malling.
