Regenology delivers innovative IVR client

In partnership with client Direct Business Innovations, Regenology has developed an innovative new approach to business-to-business communications where a supplier's data is only accessible through legacy Interactive Voice Response telephony systems.
Managed through a cross platform and intuitive web-based interface, DBI are able to record requests for information in the system's database. At regular intervals this information is passed off to a unique dialler program that is able to make a call to the supplier's IVR system, send the tones for the appropriate menu options along with the request-specific details. The message produced is then recorded for later analysis.
Utilising recent MPEG standards the system is able to analyse the message, break it down into component phrases and identify the results against predetermined responses. Noise reduction and packet delay detection algorithms produced especially for the system help ensure the results are accurate.
This information is then stored in the database and made available in a report produced on-the-fly whenever DBI require it.
By hosting the complete service in the Regenology Data Centre it is possible to make the most of the available bandwidth and scale the system up across parallel VoIP lines at minimal cost compared to using conventional telephone lines.
The result is streamlined access to supplier information that previously took considerably longer to obtain and wasted time that could be better spent making sales.
