The City of London and the London Borough of Camden, in partnership with Transport for London embarked on a project to improve the layout of Holborn Circus junction to make it simpler and safer for all users.
The City of London used the time-lapse images to monitor the progress on site, and the film clearly showed how traffic disruption was kept to a minimum. The final film enabled the local authorities to engage the public allowing them to see the installation of the new signalised crossings.
